# Real-time document collaboration

Edit a document alongside other collaborators and see who is working in it, then review changes by author and restore an earlier editing session. Published versions remain frozen snapshots. 

The document editor now works on the live document. Other editors appear in a facepile with a live caret, so concurrent edits are visible as they happen.

A history panel groups edits into sessions by author, highlights inserted and deleted text, and lets you restore a session from the draft. Publishing or requesting approval creates a version, and its link remains a frozen snapshot.
